SAIL recruitment 2021 for engineers is being conducted for 100 apprentice vacancies for which online applications have begun

SAIL recruitment 2021 for engineers is currently underway for as many as 100 apprentice vacancies for which online applications are being accepted. The duration of the training will be one year and the contract will be automatically terminated after the completion of the apprenticeship training period. Also, this apprenticeship training is only for candidates with a diploma in engineering, and those with higher qualifications such as BE are not eligible to apply.

Who can Apply for SAIL Recruitment 2021 for Engineers?

As mentioned before, candidates with a diploma in engineering from an institution recognized by the AICTE, Government of India from the following streams can apply:

Stream of engineering-Number of vacancies

• Diploma in electrical engineering-20
• Diploma in mechanical engineering-20
• Diploma in metallurgy engineering-30
• Diploma in chemical engineering-10
• Diploma in civil engineering-10
• Diploma in instrumentation engineering-10

Applications from candidates who have already registered, undergone, or are undergoing Apprenticeship Training under the Apprenticeship Act in any other organization will not be considered. The age of the applicant should be between 18 and 28 years as of 28 February 2020. Nevertheless, age relaxation will be allowed for SC, ST, OBC and PH candidates as per Government of India rules. Candidates should have obtained their degrees after the year 2017.

How to Apply for SAIL Recruitment 2021 for Engineers?

Interested and eligible candidates need to register and apply on the MHRDNATS portal before 19 February 2021. Applicants need to first obtain a valid registration number with National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) Portal, and then apply for the apprenticeship by going to the Establishments Requests, clicking on Find Establishments, and then selecting SAIL IISCO STEEL PLANT (EWBBRC000016).
